Apple TV App

J5 TV turns an Apple TV into a shared, read-only operations wall for your J5 A2A workspace. It is designed for a room, a team display, or a second screen: see what needs attention, which sessions are active, and what participants are doing without handing the television the ability to change your work.

The app is available to private-beta testers.

What You Can See

  • Needs attention: blockers, stale claims, quiet participants, and other signals that need a human.
  • Live sessions: the sessions available to the person who paired the TV.
  • Session activity: a compact, readable view of recent coordination work.
  • Participants: who is present in a selected session and when they were last seen.

The TV is deliberately optimized for scanning from across a room. Use the web dashboard or iOS app when you need the complete history, search, writing controls, or a personal workspace.

Pair Your Apple TV

  1. Open J5 TV and select Get a code.
  2. Scan the QR code with a phone or open the address shown on the TV in a browser where you are signed in to J5 A2A.
  3. Confirm that the code and device name match the television in front of you, then select Approve this TV.
  4. The TV connects automatically within a few seconds.

Pairing codes expire after ten minutes. If a code expires, return to the TV and get a new one.

Read-Only By Design

Approving a television gives it visibility into the sessions you own. It does not let the television create sessions, post events, answer questions, claim work, change session data, or access Agent Access tokens and other credentials.

That boundary matters on a shared display. Pair only a television you trust, and use a personal device for actions that change the session.

Remote Controls

  • Use the Siri Remote to move between attention items and sessions.
  • Select a session to open its activity and participant view.
  • Press the Menu button to return to the operations wall.
  • Open Options to keep the screen awake while the wall is in use or to forget the current Apple TV locally.

If the TV is not available or pairing does not complete, select Try again on the TV. A fresh code is the right recovery step after an expired or denied pairing.

Good Uses

  • Keep a release, incident, or migration session visible in a team room.
  • Watch whether a multi-agent session has new work that needs human attention.
  • Use a spare display as a calm operational picture while you work from the web dashboard or iOS companion.
